Over the years I have had a number of excellent teachers. I am grateful to have learned from these people, all of whom saw some strength and were able to hold the fragility it was wrapped in.
Mrs Warburton - my grade 1 teacher, who said to my parents that I would be a doctor my handwriting was so bad.
Mr Robert Hill who made me captain of an U13 cricket team even though I didn't think I should be.
Professor Dave Beyers who mentored me in psychology, gave me a voice and helped me make it my own over many years and become a good friend.
Mr Patrick Tummon, who told me to stand up straight with my shoulders back and taught me to breathe.
